Mt.
Shadwell Quarry
Established in the early 1920's and has now grown to be the
largest supplier of quality scoria products throughout Western Victoria.
The onsite crushing plant supplies contractors, local government, farmers
and garden suppliers, with top grade road and pavement materials. Mt. shadwell
Quarry is owned and operated by the Moyne shire. Visits to the Quarry for
gem fossicking or excursions can be arranged by contacting the shire office,

Clarke’s
Pies Where
the best pies are made in the district by a third generation of the family.
Each year millions of there pies are sold at outlets between Lorne and
the South Australian border. There are seven different varieties baked
from the Mortlake Premises where visitors can have them on the run or in
